During the storm Anthony recalled hearing a loud crack from up the road, and when he got there, the tree limb which was once several feet in the air, was bent to the ground.

High winds from Tropical Storm Ike on Sunday, 14 September 2008, broke tree limbs which snapped overhead power lines. The residents on Wendover, Cook and Hillard Streets have been without electricity for four days.
