John McCain's Straight Talk Express stopped at the historic Golden Lamb restaurant in Lebanon, Ohio today, 9 September 2008. Some 10,000 supporters stood under gray, drizzly skies in a security line that stretched over four city blocks to hear the Republican candidates speak. The rally was free and open to the public.

Senator Barack Obama gave a speech at Stebbins High School in Riverside, Ohio today as well. However, attendance at the Democrat media event was by invitation only.
