Fairborn Memorial Day 2009

Fairborn, OH — Veterans, public officials, city leaders and residents turned out on 25 May 2009 to observe a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. The ceremony was hosted by the American Legion Post #526, aka the Dignam-Whitmore Post, and was held at the Fairfield Cemetery.

Fairborn Wright Avenue Fire

Fairborn, OH — A small fire broke out inside the garage at 18 South Wright Avenue on 15 May 2009, at about 12:50 pm. Flames were caused by an automobile that had caught fire. There are no reported injuries and it is not yet clear how the fire began.

Dayton, OH — Thousands rallied at Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton on a chilly Wednesday evening on tax-day, 15 April 2009, to express their desire for free markets, fiscal responsibility, respect for the constitution and smaller government.
